News of some nearby newspapers in trouble has led to this question being posed to me more than once lately: How is The Register Citizen managing to avoid the troubles that other “print media” seem to be having with competition from the Internet and the worsening economy?The quick answer is that we aren’t just “print media” anymore, and we have and will continue to change as our readers’ and advertisers’ needs change, whether that change is via technology or just mindset.
